Zoi koutkalaki

Dr. Zoi Koutkalaki is a Postdoctoral Researcher and Adjunct Lecturer at the Department of Industrial Design and Production Engineering, University of West Attica. Previously, she provided teaching support at the University of the Aegean (2012–2022) and has held adjunct lecturer positions at the University of Western Macedonia and the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She holds a Ph.D. (2020) and has completed a Postdoctoral Research project (2023) at the University of the Aegean. She also holds an M.Sc. (2012) in Product and Systems Design Engineering and a degree in Industrial Design Engineering (2010). Her research focuses on Biomechanics, Reverse Engineering, and Computer-Aided Design/Manufacturing/Engineering (CAD/CAM/CAE). She has participated in 5 European and National R&D projects, and her work has been published in a total of 14 international journals and conference proceedings. Her teaching experience includes courses on “CAD/CAM/CAE”, “Machine Elements”, “Engineering Drawing”, “Product Design”, “Industrial Design”, and “Design Optimization”.
