Philip Azariadis

Dr. Philip Azariadis is a Full Professor at the Department of Industrial Design and Production Engineering, University of West Attica. Previously, he was a faculty member at the University of the Aegean (2002–2022) and a Collaborating Faculty at the Hellenic Open University (2011–2012, 2014). He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Patras (1999). From 2001 to 2010, he worked at ELKEDE – Center for Technology and Design SA. His research focuses on Mathematical Modeling for Product Design/Engineering and Industry 4.0. He has participated in over 30 European and National R&D projects, served on the program committees of more than 100 international conferences, and is a member of the editorial board of 10 international scientific journals. His teaching experience includes courses on “CAD/CAM/CAE”, “Industrial Design”, “Engineering Drawing”, “Methods for Product & Systems Development”, “Detail Product Design”.
