Mahmoud Jazzar

Dra. Concepción Parejo Prados graduated in Chemistry from the Complutense University of Madrid (1993) and began her research career at the Institute of Polymer Science and Technology (ICTP) of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) in the field of biomaterials, specifically biopolymers obtained her doctorado in 1999.

She later moved to the Miguel Hernández University of Elche, where she has worked on the synthesis of new materials based on photorefractive polymers, materials with photovoltaic applications, and materials with applications in light-emitting diodes.

She is the author of several articles in indexed journals and textbooks. She has participated in numerous national and international research projects, including some related to footwear, such as SCILED – Footwear in the 21st Century: New skills for the design of radically improved footwear products in terms of comfort, sustainability, and science-based fashion.
